The previous old town house built in 1843 which was awkwardly altered, extended, enhanced and renovated several times has now been demolished. The teams are now digging deep. The foundations of the future contemporary and ageless office building will take some weeks to be set.
These new constructions consist of a retirement home with 160 rooms on the one hand and a building with 27 service flats on the other hand, located in the municipality of Evere.
For the moment we reached the GF+1 of the service flats building on the street side as the retirement home full building envelope is in its last finishing stages at the back.
Breevast and Immobel, real estate partners in the major project of the Administrative City, have specifically named Archi2000 responsible for following and managing the building of the housing part of the project.
The internal demolition and partial extension of the Rue de Ligne building is on its way. It will produce 7.800 sq.m. of apartments.
A large office building located avenue Livingstone in Brussels is reconverted in housing.
The 4 apartment blocks, which all benefit from a shared entrance and inner courtyard, are at different stages of renovation. On the one hand, the most in advance has its envelope fully finished except the ground floor, but on the other hand, the last block is still in a structural renovation works phase.
Partial renovation of an office building and creation of a new access. This heavy planning aims to finish the renovation works by this summer!
Two apartment buildings (79 units in total) will be constructed parallel to the street and are oriented towards a garden which the inhabitants have access to.
The internal demolition stage is nearly finished and will leave place for the bigger machines in the coming weeks.
In the “Vert Chasseur” neighbourhood in Brussels, a new building of 5 apartments and a penthouse will be erected. The concrete base slab has just been cast.
New collective housing will soon replace the ancient Dururoir industries.
The two buildings will respectively present 24 and 39 apartments, from which the half will be passive, and the other half will reach the standards of very low energy consumption housing.
